Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you service? Do you charge for travel?
I will travel anywhere across Melbourne for your appointment. Appointments located outside a 10KM radius of Melbourne CBD may incur a travel fee, to be confirmed when booking. Beth also travels to the Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley and beyond for weddings or larger parties.
Do I need a bridal trial?
I encourage brides to have a trial so we can meet, get to know each other and design your perfect bridal make up prior to the big day.
How should I get ready for my appointment?
Please be ready for your appointment with clean skin - no mascara, make up residue, heavy skincare. I don't recommend you wear your 'going-out outfit' for the appointment in case there is any powder fall out or the like.
I want a spray tan on my wedding day - do I need one for my trial?
If you're planning on having a spray tan for your wedding day, you should have the same spray tan done (same formula, same salon) for the trial as well. Without this, I cannot reasonably recreate your bridal look as I am working with two different complexions, and this uncertainty is not the vibe we want on your wedding day. Please also avoid tanning your face so that it doesn't create any unwelcome texture - no fear, we will always match your face to the rest of your décolletage & body.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
I require a small deposit to be paid to secure your booking. Your deposit is non-refundable and cannot be returned in the event of cancellation, as the deposit also acts as a booking fee to cover administration and the exclusivity of your event date.
What if I need to cancel?
Please email or text 0488 238 400 to notify of any cancellation ASAP. As per above, the deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation however, if you wish to reschedule, I will transfer the deposit to secure a new date (depending on availability).
What products do you use?
I've searched far and wide, testing products from all sorts of brands to bring you only the best. I hero products from Giorgio Armani, Hourglass, Fenty, Dior, Laura Mercier, NARS, Morphe and MAC (to name just a few).
Are you qualified?
While I whole heartedly believe that artists in 2020 can be proficiently self-taught, I am a qualified artist having studied under celebrity make up artist Priscilla Ono (currently the Global Artist for Fenty Beauty). I also regularly participate in online and in-person masterclasses to refine my skills, most recently learning from Danessa Myricks, Mia Connor and Tanielle Jai.
Do you also do hair?
Short answer is sadly no.
